We will be discussing two topics today. Please have a look at them and think a little before class. Come ready with an opinion.
1) Husbands should earn the most money in a family.
- Do the men in the family usually make more money in your home country?
- How would you feel if you (if your a woman) or your wife (if you are a man) made the most money?
- Is money a topic that is discussed by families?
- Is being a stay-at-home dad acceptable in your home country?
2) Doing a job you like is more important than earning a lot of money.
- Would you rather enjoy your job, or make a lot of money?
- When you are considering what classes to take in school, do you think about enjoying your future job, or making a lot of money? What are your parents expectations?
- Would you rather be in a relationship with someone who enjoys their job, or someone who makes a lot of money?

I think that family is kind of team, so husband and wife should cooperate each other. I mean that it shouldn't be husband who earn the most in the family to support their life. Mother can make money to support their life. Miyabi Sekine

ReplyDeleteBut now in Japan, most husband makes more money than wife.
So, if I make more money than my husband, I will uncomfortable.
2)I hope that I can do a job I like because if I do boring job to earn a lot of money, I will be boring everyday.

Delete- In Japan, basicly men make more money except that women have a high salary job than men.
- I don't mind about making the more money, but some men care about it because of their pride as a man.
- Yes, it's an important topic.
- Nowadays that situation becomes more acceptable.
2)
- I prefer to enjoy a job because I want have motivation when I'm working.
- I think about an enjoyable job. My parents expect me to get a secure job with good pay.
- I like people who enjoy thier job and life.

- It's not important. But if someone has proud of his or her wage, it will be importan.
- Sometimes, it's very accepted seriously.
- They are accused of incompetent person.

- I will choose making a lot of money, because I live in korea.
- I really want to have enjoyable job. But if the gab of wages is big, I will choose money.
My parents expect that I have a satisfying job for myself
- Maybe, I prefer people who enjoy their job.
