Class Presentation Schedule
Monday
Informal
Student Presentations:
- Students will sit in their
seats.
- Topic: Anything
o Sometimes I would like you
to do a news story.
- Source: Your memories and
experiences OR newspapers (24 and The Metro are free) or the Internet (the cbc
news website it good).
- Length: 5-15min
- The presentation topic
must be posted on the blog by 10pm on Saturday.
- All students must visit
the blog and read the presentation topics. They must post at least one question
for the presenter
- Audience is responsible to
ask questions following the presentation.
Wednesday
Homework
Question Discussion:
- Students are responsible
to be prepared for the homework discussion.
- This question will be
posted on the blog on Monday night by 8pm.
- Students must go to the
blog, read the question or statement, and post their opinion.
o E.g. I agree that Canada
should try to put man on the moon.
Friday
Semi-Formal
Student Presentations:
- Topic: Picture
o You must bring a picture
with you to class. This can be from your personal collection (electronic or an
actual picture) or from a newspaper or magazine.
o Describe the picture to
us, tell us why you chose it, and tell us the story behind it.
- Students will stand or sit
at the front of the room.
- Length: 5-15min
